Resistohm Heating and Control was started by Allan Bailie on 01 July 2005. It was taken over as a going concern from the Kaymac Group, where it was originally called Gilectric. Gilectric was started in the early 1980’s, and some of the staff that started at Gilectric is still employed at Resistohm Heating and Control.
Allan Bailie started in the Heating Element Industry in 1989, so the amount of accumulative experience within the business is vast. In July 2015 we celebrated 10 years in the industry.
The business is situated in central Pinetown, which is ideal for servicing our customer base. Deliveries are offered through the use of a local courier throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal. We also service customers nationally, with deliveries being handled by long distance couriers to all major centres.
